Stephanie serves as lead designer and project spearhead. She is unusual in that she integrates education and experience in business, organization development, social work, and design to develop spaces that provide inspiration and utility. Consulting and design in the spa industry give her unique experience to create environments that provide an antidote to stress and anxiety, especially for healthcare environments where both patients and their families deserve attention to their emotional and mental experience in conjunction with their physical care. SBG uses color, art and décor for positive distraction, attention to beauty in the space as well as comfort and feel of seating, and surfaces that reflect order and cleanliness to offer spaces that support an integrated approach to care. The spaces of SBG are often noted as having a very favorable impact on client or patient experience.
Her intention for the environment is also to encourage well-being and productivity among staff by attending to such details as the comfort and ergonomics of task seating. Her business background informs her choices to be both sound design and budgetary choices, knowing that over or under investment in the facility can be detrimental to the success of the business. She seeks to ensure that SBG projects align the interiors with the vision and values the client organization holds for its patients or clients and staff, thereby enhancing the cultural and organizational development. Dana has a masters degree in construction management and years of experience in residential construction. He draws on experience from the US Air Force to expertly manage the logistics of all deliveries and installations. His primary focus is ensuring we meet all our clients ‘expectations for timely execution of the project. His attention to client satisfaction comes from more than thirty years in the financial services industry, which he left to join the family business.
Amy joined SBG after receiving a masters degree in positive organization development. With a keen interest in ensuring the environment supports the desired client experience and the well-being of the staff who work there, she focuses on the overall aesthetic appeal as well as the form and function of the finishes and selections we utilize in the space. She works with Stephanie to create the facility design and interfaces with various architects on integration of the finishes in all related construction documents.
